Das M3-ATX-HV ist ein intelligentes KFZ ATX Netzteil. Entworfen, um Leistung bereitzustellen und um den EIN/AUS Schalter eines Mainboards zu kontrollieren (zündungsabhängig), ist das M3-ATX-HV ein Breiteingangsbereichs-(6-34V) ATX Netzteil, welches auch Motorstarts übersteht (bis 5.7V) und auch resistent gegen Überspannung ist. Das M3-ATX-HV hat 8 user-wählbare microcontroller-gesteuerte Timing-Modi, welche Ihnen erlauben aus 8 Zündung/Shutdown Timing Schemata zu wählen. Wenn Sie alle Jumper entfernen, wird das M3-ATX-HV zu einem herkömmlichen Netzteil ohne Zündungskontrolle und kann in nicht-KFZ-Umgebungen betrieben werden. Sogar wenn Ihr Computer aus ist, verbraucht der PC immernoch einige wenige Hundert Milliwatt, um den Ein/Aus-Status Ihres PCs überwachen. Wenn der PC sich im Suspend/Sleep-Modus befindet wird er noch viel mehr Strom verbrauchen, da der RAM immer mit Strom versorgt werden muss (bei STR=Suspend To RAM). Egal wie gross Ihre Batterie ist, nach wenigen Wochen Standzeit wird sie leergezogen sein. Wenn sich der PC im Sleep-Modus befindet, überwacht das M3-ATX-HV konstant die Batterie, um Tiefentladungen zu vermeiden. Vorher schaltet das M3-ATX-HV alles ab, bis die Batterie wieder einen sicheren Level erreicht hat. Nie wieder tote Batterien, nie wieder Computer Resets während des Motorstarts. Zusammen mit den 8 Timing-Modi bietet das M3-ATX-HV die bevorzugte Lösung für mobile Stromversorgung zu einem attraktiven Preis. Das M3-ATX-HV kommt komplett mit ATX, HDD und Floppy Stromkabeln, Jumpern, faston-Anschlüssen und 2-pin-Kabel für den Anschluss an das Mainboard (On/Off).
